Down Syndrome (DS) is a genetic disorder which additional replication of the 21st chromosome called trisomy 21. A person with Down Syndrome normally has low to moderate IQ (a measure of intelligence). Children who were diagnosed with DS’s physical and mental development are slower than that of a normal child. However, as they grow older they can still live a healthy and fulfilling life by having a regular health check-up and having special training programs.
